Trust Builds Teams
Practical learning grounded in your context
Build trust, strengthen relationships, and lead improvement together.
Trust shapes how people work and learn together, particularly through change. Trust Builds Teams supports tumuaki, leaders, and teams to strengthen professional relationships and lead purposeful conversations that support improvement for ākonga.
Delivered across two terms, the programme gives you opportunities to develop your skills, apply them in your setting, and reflect on your experience.

Who is this for?
School and kura leaders and teams who want to strengthen trust, collaboration, and shared responsibility. It is particularly relevant for teams navigating change or seeking more effective ways to work and learn together.
What you'll gain:
Through the proven practices of Leading Adult Learning, you'll gain the tools, skills, and relational leadership capabilities needed to strengthen team culture. You’ll navigate improvement with confidence and drive the kind of meaningful change that makes a lasting difference for your ākonga, your team, and your kura. Mahi tahi tātou. Let’s work together.

How the programme works
The programme runs across two terms and includes:
two full-day workshops, from 9 am to 3 pm
two online half-day workshops following the full-day sessions
a copy of Joan Dalton’s Learning Culture for Learning Impact.
The time between workshops allows you to put your learning into practice and bring your experiences and questions back to the group.
You will learn alongside other leaders, with opportunities to explore shared challenges and consider approaches that fit your team and context.
