You need to know what your data is telling you. We can analyse your school, kura, or kāhui ako data and provide reports giving an independent evaluation of student achievement. Our aim is always to support you to use your data to inquire into your practice, to improve teaching and learning.
How we work with you
Sometimes you want another perspective on your data. For us, that means starting with understanding what it is that you want to find out. The next steps are to use qualitative and quantitative analysis. That way both numbers and words combine to provide a clear picture for you. We then present the data to you so you can take action.

How your data is presented
Data can be analysed and presented in both graphical and written form. We will provide the graphical form(s) that you prefer. We find that bar charts, stacked bar graphs, box and whisker graphs and effect size tables are the most commonly used and easily understood. We can work with you to help you choose the most suitable way for your school, kura, or kāhui ako needs.
We work with you to understand the data. One effective way is through collaborative sense-making hui. You will receive a preliminary summary of the findings, and collectively we will discuss, interpret and analyse the findings.
