Natasha Stumpf

Principal Advisor

Natasha is a principal advisor to schools in Te Tairāwhiti and the Wairoa regions. She works primarily with beginning principals and tūmuaki to support them as they grow into their role. Natasha tailors this support to individual needs and delivers in a timely manner, with a focus on both leadership and management.

Natasha has experience as a principal and educational leader in the Gisborne and East Coast regions. Her teaching and leadership roles have included working at Tiaho School in Wairoa, Mangapapa and Te Kura Reo Rua o Waikirikiri in Gisborne and most recently as principal of Tikitiki School in the heart of Ngāti Porou on the East Coast.

She works with tūmuaki to strengthen their leadership capabilities to ultimately raise achievement and reduce disparity for all tamariki and mokopuna in education. Natasha has most recently completed the Advanced Leadership Programme and is looking forward to building on this learning with the principals she works with.

Her current role is to develop leadership capabilities that will have a positive impact on school conditions and practices through:

•    reciprocal learning relationships

•    key sector collaborations

•    leadership growth and development

•    building professional networks

•    a commitment to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Natasha lives in sunny Gisborne and enjoys spending time with whanau, weaving, reading, cooking, camping, and enjoying all that state highway 35 and the surroundings districts have to offer.
