Jess Naylor

Jess is a content editor and writer in our publications team.

She supports the Te Kete Ipurangi (TKI) suite of websites, working with the Ministry of Education to ensure these valuable sites stay as up-to-date as possible.

Jess has worked as a primary school teacher for the past six years. During this time, she wore many hats, assisting in leading mathematics, providing IT support, and organising school-wide tuakana-teina initiatives. Jess proudly led the revision of the school curriculum to better reflect the views and values of the wider community. With a particular interest in raising student engagement in learning and promoting student agency, she is excited to explore new pathways to accomplish this.

In her spare time, Jess enjoys sewing, DIY projects and spending time with friends and whānau.
