Jane Armstrong Bos
Jane is a Programme Manager and Team Leader within the Publications team. Jane has expertise in:
New Zealand Curriculum, literacy learning, and digital fluency
effective project management and team leadership
content strategy development, writing for the web, and editing
instructional design
supporting schools to share their curriculum experiences and learning
video production and post-production
online editing and publication.
Jane’s work is underpinned by the principles of Universal Design for Learning. She designs effective, engaging, user-friendly, culturally responsive and inclusive content.
As an experienced project manager and learning designer, Jane has a wide and varied range of experience and skill in the education sector. She spent ten years managing projects, leading teams, and developing curriculum support resources for CORE Education – particularly focusing on supporting inclusive practice, literacy learning, and digital fluency.
Jane comes from a primary school teaching background. She has worked across all levels in the classroom. She was a team leader, school-wide ICT PD leader, and ICT PD cluster facilitator.
Literacy learning, and in particular structured literacy has been a focus in Jane’s professional development. She has a NZ Certificate in Teaching Individuals with Specific Learning Disabilities from SPELD.
Outside of work Jane enjoys living a rural lifestyle, regularly trail running and swimming.
