Geoff Childs

Geoff is a member of our Leading by Learning team based in the Central South Region (Greater Wellington, Taranaki/Manawatu/Whanganui, Tairawhiti. Hawke’s Bay).

His most recent experience is as a coordinator and kaiarahi for the National Aspiring Principals’ Programme. Prior to this, Geoff worked as a teacher and leader in primary and secondary schools.

His areas of expertise and interest include:

• Coaching and mentoring.

• Strategic planning and consultation.

• Developing leadership capability.

• Having conversations that matter.

• Developing middle leaders.

• Leading by Learning.

Geoff is married with two adult children. His interests include biking, fishing when the Wellington weather permits, tramping, and burning things – generally using a BBQ.
