Diana (Di) Wilkes

Project Manager and Writer - Publications/PLD Consultant

Di is a Publications Project Manager and writer and has expertise in educational leadership, instructional design, content strategy, project management and leading teams.

Di is passionate about innovation in education and empowering leaders, educators and learners. She works out of our Auckland office, and can assist schools in the following areas:

  • amplifying collaborative teaching and learning

  • leading change and change management

  • local curriculum design and review

  • digital fluency and leading learning with digital technologies

  • applying for RAPLD

Di is also part of Tārai Kura alliance partnership which supports new schools and those engaged in large redevelopments. The Tārai Kura team aims to guide the co-creation of an inclusive, future-focused, ākonga-centred learning environment, grounded by a strong vision for learning and design and can support school leaders and boards to partner with mana whenua, write an Education Brief and begin to develop a cultural narrative.

Di holds a Masters Degree in Educational Technology, a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Practice (Digital and Collaborative Learning).

Di is a self-professed ‘new school junkie’, currently serving on the board of a new school opening in 2023 and previously working as foundation tumuaki (2018) and establishment deputy principal (2014) in other new Auckland primary schools. She has a special interest in the intersection between property and pedagogy and enjoys supporting school leaders who are managing change associated with this. 

Outside of work, Di enjoys riding her motorcycle, going snorkelling, travelling internationally, taking walks and spending time with her husband and their three feline fur babies.
