Lana Wolfgram

Lana is a principal advisor in Te Tai Tokerau, working primarily with beginning principals.

Currently seconded from her principal’s position at Totara Grove School, Whangarei, Lana began her career as a principal in a small two-teacher rural Northland school.

Until recently, Lana was the secretary of the Whangarei Principals’ Association. She encourages all principals to develop and support collegial networks.

Lana is passionate about building strong teams and growing leadership capacity and capability across all levels of the school.

Lana’s current role involves working with principals in the following areas

• strategic leadership

• creating positive change

• developing culturally responsive practice

• building collaboration and relational trust within teams

• school evaluation and review.

Lana lives in Whangarei with her husband Garry. Outside of work, Lana enjoys spending time with family, walking and watching sport.
