National hui 2018 overview
The Many Faces of Leadership
Making a positive difference for learners...Ina te mahi, he rangatira
The 2018 National Hui planning is well underway. This hui is complementary to the regional hui throughout the year and is an opportunity for you to be exposed to thinking that is both challenging and affirming. It is a time to meet and network with other principals from across the country, from schools like yours and schools that are different, reflecting the diversity of education we have in Aotearoa.
We will have exciting keynotes as well as plenty of opportunity for you to mix, network and share during workshops and reflective sessions. This is one of the few times during the school year that you can say, “This is about me and my learning”. We encourage you to contribute, and to take what you need from the hui to feed your learning, for when you return to the real world of school leadership.
At this stage we are pleased to be able to confirm Dr Lance O’Sullivan, Moana Maniapoto, Mary Chamberlain, Dr Martin Thrupp and Jehan Casinader as keynote speakers.
At the gala dinner we will once again be entertained by Race Relations, a band that last year really got everybody up and rocking.
Venue: Auckland Airport Holiday Inn
Dates: October 2nd, 3rd & 4th
