This workshop explores how an assessment for learning approach in secondary schooling transforms assessment by reducing student assessment anxiety, teacher marking load and pressure, and leads to improved results. Assessment for learning supports students to be active and agentic and brings the joy back to teaching.

The workshop will cover:

  • creating learning-focused relationships in the classroom
  • shared clarity about the learning
  • assessment capability for you and your students
  • effective feedback practices
  • self and peer assessment
  • active reflection  
  • shared clarity about next steps in learning 

Participants will be supported by resources and lots of practical strategies to use in the classroom.

Cost: $299.00 plus GST
