Accredited facilitator for MoE-funded PLD - See Summary of Practice

Keith is a Leadership Advisor working across the wider Wellington region. Within this position, his primary role is in supporting beginning principals.

Keith brings to his work 28 years’ experience as a principal, most recently (until January 2015) at Paraparaumu Beach School. He is passionate about the building and nurturing of leaders and leadership capacity in schools, seeing this as being a crucial foundation for school and student success.

Since his ‘retirement’ as a principal, Keith has maintained close links with the education sector and schools, including working with the National Aspiring Principals Programme (NAPP), and also in gaining Ministry accreditation as a PLD Facilitator.

Keith lives at Peka Peka Beach (at the northern end of the Kapiti Coast) with his wife Debbie. They have three grown-up children, and three grandchildren. In his spare time, Keith is a passionate sports/fitness fan and participant, plays keyboards in a band, and enjoys pretending to be good at DIY/building projects!
