National Standards workshops
This workshop is designed to enable you to understand and apply the principles of sound assessment, moderation and reporting about National Standards.
You will learn:
- what assessment should count as evidence
- systems for making overall teacher judgments
- ways to include student voice in overall teacher judgments
- ways to effectively moderate overall teacher judgments
- the principles of good reporting
- how to report in plain language
- ways to clearly present information to boards and the ministry
- the principles of target setting.
Examples and templates for reporting to parents, boards of trustees and the Ministry of Education will be available at the workshop.
The charge for the workshop is $315.00 per person. An invoice will be sent on registration.
