Assessment for Learning – the fundamentals: Learning focused relationships and clarity about what is to be learnt
The workshop explores the fundamentals of assessment for learning.
Assessment for Learning is the leading pedagogical approach to build active learners and improve learner outcomes. This workshop is designed for all teachers and leaders who wish to further their understanding and use of assessment for learning. This may also be useful for teachers new to schools which have embedded formative practice or beginning teachers who wish to deepen their understanding.
The workshop supports educators to:
- Understand what assessment for learning is and what this could look like in the classroom
- Develop learning focused relationships in the classroom
- Clarity about what is to be learnt
All workshops run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. The cost is $330+ GST per person.
Morning tea and lunch are provided, as are all resources.
We are running these workshops in Auckland, Wellington and Napier in 2020.
Auckland dates: Monday 24th February
Napier dates: Wednesday 18th March
Wellington dates: Wednesday 11th March
