Welcome to Evaluation Associates Ltd

Evaluation Associates Ltd is an independent consultancy company which specialises in professional development, evaluation and research within the education sector. Company consultants work with schools, the Ministry of Education and other education organisations to deliver work which is:-

- rich in insight and lateral thinking

The company is directed by Michael Absolum, the principal consultant, who is recognised for his contribution to the assessment community in New Zealand and to the literature on quality teaching and learning. He and his team, all education professionals with a background in teaching, have considerable experience and expertise in professional development and education projects aimed at improving educational outcomes for New Zealand schools and students.
The Evaluation Associates' team works with education stakeholders across the sectors. They have a reputation within the education community for taking a collaborative approach to projects and confer extensively to ensure that projects are co-constructed to suit the organisation's needs. Consultants know how to relate well to students, teachers, managers, parents and whanau in schools, being skilled at establishing trusted and productive relationships with a range of people.

e-asTTle support for schools in terms 3 and 4, 2010

Evaluation Associates facilitators are offering free e-asTTle support for schools in the Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, East Coast and Wellington regions. This support could be in-school or with a group or cluster of schools if preferred.
